San Francisco-based startup Anthropic has launched Claude Marketplace, a new offering that enables enterprises to access Claude-powered tools and applications from external partners, including GitLab, Harvey, Replit, and Snowflake, using their existing Anthropic spend commitment.

The Claude Marketplace is designed to simplify procurement and consolidate AI spend, allowing enterprises to purchase Claude-powered partner solutions without separately handling partner invoicing. Anthropic will manage invoicing for partner spend, making it easier for enterprises to access the best Claude-powered tools without managing a separate procurement process for each one. The Marketplace is currently in limited preview, and interested enterprises should reach out to their Anthropic account team to get started.

The launch of Claude Marketplace raises questions about how enterprises will choose to use Claude: directly through Anthropic‘s own products and APIs, or through third-party applications that embed Claude for more specialized workflows. This move is notable, given that prior Claude integrations have caused concerns among investors about the potential threat to software-as-a-service (SaaS) apps. However, Anthropic spokesperson emphasized that the goal of Claude Marketplace is not to replace existing products, but to invest in them and make it easier for enterprises to access the best Claude-powered tools.

Other companies, such as OpenAI, have also launched similar marketplaces, including the App Directory in December 2025, which features offerings from companies like Canva, Expedia, and Figma. However, Anthropic‘s solution stands out by focusing on enterprise adoption and providing a more centralized way for enterprises to procure Claude-powered partner tools. The success of Claude Marketplace will depend on adoption, as many of the partners already have enterprise customers who deploy their tools through an API or other protocols.

The launch of Claude Marketplace has significant implications for the future of enterprise AI adoption. As Anthropic continues to invest in its partners and make it easier for enterprises to access Claude-powered tools, it is likely that more businesses will explore the use of Claude as an orchestrator, where the platform acts as a command center that taps the right tool and accesses the right context without constantly prompting. With the potential to streamline procurement and consolidate AI spend, Claude Marketplace is poised to have a significant impact on the enterprise AI landscape.
